  • Visual design
  • Art direction
  • Interactive elements
  • Hero redesign
  • Customer review visibility
  1. 001The Brief

The original website relied heavily on static imagery and offered little interactivity. Customer reviews, an important source of trust for a beverage brand, were hard to find. I wanted visitors to engage more naturally with the brand, find information easily, and explore its products with confidence.

  2. 002The Thinking

I focused on the first impression and the path from interest to trust. The hero needed to feel lively and human, not just display a product. Bringing a person into it put human connection at the center, interactive elements invited visitors to engage, and easier-to-find reviews supported trust.

  3. 003The Making

I rebuilt the site from scratch, using the original imagery and information as source material while rethinking layout, art direction, and interaction. The hero became the focal point, combining a marquee, an expressive composition, a person, and interactive text, so the whole site felt less static.

  4. 004The Result

The concept reimagined Alani Nu’s website as a more interactive, visually engaging experience, with a stronger hero, more chances to interact, and easier access to reviews. It aimed to build on existing customer relationships, help new visitors connect, and support conversions.

001 — The Brief

  • Analyzed the existing website to identify opportunities for stronger imagery, clearer product discovery, and more engaging interactions.
  • Used the SWOT analysis to guide improvements to the shopping experience and strengthen customer trust.

002 — The Thinking

  • Explored a more energetic art direction using bold gradients, product imagery, and lifestyle photography.
  • Planned a more interactive homepage that would make the brand feel engaging while helping shoppers navigate the products.

003 — The Making

  • Built a vibrant hero around lifestyle imagery, product variety, and a prominent wordmark.
  • Used color, scale, and composition to create a more immediate connection between the brand and its audience.

004 — The Result

  • Extended the redesign across product listings, individual product pages, and customer reviews.
  • Made product information and social proof more visible while carrying the visual direction across screen sizes.
